River Clubs
- Formerly Vince's Idaho Whitewater Page, IWA's mission is to promote the appreciation, understanding, and safe recreational use of the whitewater river resources within the State of Idaho.
- A whitewater rafting club based in Spokane, Washington whose goal is to promote whitewater boating, safety, and conservation
- East Slope of the Rockies. Pete and Christina King out of Colorado Springs are big players keeping this group active.
- A club consisting of private boaters in the Rocky Mountain Region. These guys cover are based in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO and are have a local presence north of the Pikes Peak River Runners.
- A group of paddling enthusiasts based in North Carolina. Whitewater, flat water, ocean boating, you name it.
- An atlanta based whiteater group with an active membership.
Whitewater Magazines Online
- Paddler is the official magazine of the American Canoe Association. They cover a wide range of paddling subjects, with a focus on kayaking and canoeing.
- Rapid Media based in Palmer Rapids, ON puts out several glossy magazines. Rapid Magazine, Canoeroots, Kayak Angler, and Adventure Kayak. Again, the focus in on small craft paddling w/o a lot of rafting content. There is a lot of Canadian river content.
- PrimeMedia the publishers of Powder, Surfing, Climbing, and others also puts out Canoe and Kayak mag. Their website if fairly comprehensive and offers a lot os paddling information if you want to spend time wading through it all.
